• where previous things have failed. This is the beginning not the end
• agree, learnt a lot, great to see people, go forward
• good energy from everyone here and a lot of stuff covered, interested in documentation side
• listening to good work of everybody.. make it real in a physical way
• surpassed expectations, so much more than 30 media activists in a lunch hour…great meeting in that people could exchange ideas face to face…transmissions crew great, and site continues to be a resource for everyone
• agree with everybody, too many inputs, want to develop further
• great;, met lots of new people, some only known over net, lots of new software, ideas for engaging with video cms. Could choose a city to meet in next year. Thanks for coming.
• Always good to have meetings in a place and with more time than a weekend, hope to go on and interesting projects can emerge
• Transmission cc invented identity online video activist, surprised people had not met under this heading before. Interesting to see how the project are slowly but surely hooking together, hope it will continue
• All new experience, not since school days, will retransmit transmission in asia, bring projects to fruition, chance to synchronise our lingo…
• Learning to talk to each other, continue conversation for network to work
• Cool place, cool people, makes me feel good about offering help to you all… any problems with the software, place to stay in western Massachusetts, look forward to answering and asking questions, thanks to those who made it happened. Most badass selection of a conference location. Shocking, but you pulled it off.
• Nice to drink with people who previously only see writing code in imc…still don’t know what is rss etc though, suggest having next meeting in argentina, occupied workers hotel….
• One word to start with was ‘confusion’, love the aim of the meeting, people coming together and developing common language, not yet there.. love the idea of bringing more ngos, activists etc to be here, want site as a tool for users, love that tech people willing to work together for common political goal, have to go forward in this direction, meetings will help in this, also giving a face to people, ask for suggestions. Fear that if we go back to net only communications and overload each other with questions, might get difficult.
• Important to have this meeting, and to continue the dialogue, need to open the debate about technology as well as politics. Lives in a place with many expectations, hopes we remain at a level of keeping up expectations…
• Great to be here, names and faces, really hope that transmission will go further, an occasion to translate into different languages and culture, can help with translation into Italian, realised how knowledge can navigate as well as flow.
• Don’t film us… happy about idea of giving people ability to find and use our productions, with aggregation and tools like democracy player, can reach this goal,
• Good meeting, hope to learn.. next meeting, next year, maybe can collaborate with rama, democracy, player projects, to create new instruments for the new media, new ideas
• For some of us a more artistic transmission.
• Saw a lot of high technology consumed, but we are more. Have another power than corporations, first time for me that I saw this, a lot of text produced about our work, we don’t work for global master, have a lot of problems like digital divide, can test it during this year and hope to meet again next year.,
• Most of it was to come back to a significant place like forte prenestino, gives a lot in terms of spirit, great to be in grassroots organised places. No commercials, no business people pushing products here…
• We live in exciting time especially as video activists, finally video over internet is taking off, becom ing important, people using it.. this meeting was exactly right group of people at right time talking about right issues, very impressed with organisation

• Very happy that people thinking about another meeting. Four days for the topic are not enough, just get in contact, starting to see how we can pull together.
